Hi.

I attach a file. i need to know how to do a automatic connection with a Pipe as a column and a profile IPE as a Beam.

Hello Miguel,

The Advance Steel "Shear plate" automatic connection works very well for your case!

(For the beam selection, select first the column and then one of the IPE to be connected to the column)

Hello Miguel,

This type of connection (see picture below, coming from the sample you sent me) is currently not available in Advance Steel.

The closest automatic joint would be the "Platform T, profiles" but unfortunatly it does not support a Circular Hollow Section as main beam.

We have in mind to develop such joint in one of our future Advance Steel release.
